Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reservations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests looking to make reservations and inquiries about our services. Your exceptional communication skills and attention to detail will ensure that each guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality.
Schedule: 5 days per week, flexible days including weekends.
Duties
* Handle incoming calls and assist guests with reservation requests, inquiries, and changes.
* Provide accurate information regarding hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
* Maintain an organised record of reservations and ensure all details are correctly entered into the system.
* Address guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Stay updated on hotel policies, promotions, and events to provide guests with the latest information.
Skills
* Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
* Strong phone etiquette to create a positive first impression for guests.
* Previous hotel experience is advantageous, particularly in guest services or hospitality roles.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
