We are currently looking to recruit a Picking / Packing Operator to join our Manufacturing team at Balmoral Tanks Ltd. Working as part of a two‑person team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, inspected, labelled and prepared for despatch to our sites worldwide. This is a hands‑on role that requires excellent attention to detail, a strong focus on quality, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities Accurately pick and pack customer orders in line with Bills of Materials (BOMs) Final inspection of pre‑packed items to ensure accuracy and conformity Maintain 100% accuracy in picking, packing, wrapping and labelling to company standards Prepare goods and paperwork for despatch, supporting on‑time‑in‑full (OTIF) targets Operate forklifts, pump trucks and powered pallet trucks (where trained) Load outbound consignments when required Maintain live and accurate record‑keeping throughout the process Carry out general warehouse duties and participate in stock checks Work to strict deadlines, KPIs and productivity targets Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with 5S standards Adhere to all health, safety and company policies at all times Work collaboratively as part of the wider team, demonstrating company core values What we’re looking for Essential: Good standard of education with numeracy and literacy skills Good communication skills High attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to safety, quality and “Right First Time” working Desirable: Forklift Truck (FLT) licence Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience Skills & attributes Customer‑focused, professional and reliable Comfortable working in an environment with clear accountability and ownership Flexible, methodical and adaptable to change Values‑driven, with behaviours aligned to reliability, responsiveness and teamwork Why join Balmoral Tanks?
