Leigh Academies Trust Facilities team has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Facilities Assistant to join our collaborative team working across our Primary Academies in Maidstone.
This position will assist the wider Estates Team with the care of the academy premises, including general maintenance duties such as minor repairs and refurbishment works, porterage, and other responsibilities. The role supports the Facilities Manager in ensuring the health, safety, and security of a busy academy.
Applicants should have a flexible approach to working hours and duties and may be required to cover for other team members in their absence occasionally.
Ideal candidates will be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, and an understanding of safeguarding are desirable.
We offer excellent CPD opportunities within the academy and the wider multi-academy trust, providing support for any areas where upskilling or training may be needed.
This role involves working across Tree Tops Primary Academy, Oaks Primary Academy, Molehill Primary Academy, and Langley Park Primary Academy.
