About the Role:
A full-service animation studio, is on the hunt for a talented and motivated freelance Business Development Manager to help expand their client base. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for creative content and a proven ability to generate new business in a fast-paced, visual storytelling environment. A strong existing network across relevant sectors would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and engage potential clients across corporate training, business communications, and entertainment sectors.
* Pitch the studio’s end-to-end animation capabilities — from concept to delivery.
* Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across agencies, production houses, and direct brands.
* Manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
* Collaborate with the creative team to align pitches with project capabilities and timelines.
* Represent the studio at industry events, virtual meetings, and networking opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
* 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally within animation, creative agencies, media, or production but isn't a must.
* Strong network within relevant industries, including marketing, or entertainment.
* A natural communicator with strong pitch skills and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
* Self-starter with a freelance/contractor mindset — able to manage your own pipeline and priorities.
* Passion for visual storytelling and creative solutions is a must.
