We are looking for a dedicated Residential Conveyancer to join Ideal Personnel and Recruitment Solutions Limited and support our small, friendly team.
Full or part‑time applications are considered.
Key Objectives
Provide fee‑earning conveyancing work, deliver high‑quality client service, and support the firm’s growth.
Responsibilities
* Manage all client work in accordance with the firm’s Office Manual and Lexcel procedures.
* Exercise high standards of client care, ensuring a professional and pleasant experience.
* Maintain confidentiality and security of all documentation and information.
* Work closely with Accounts and have overall responsibility for credit control on own matters.
* Comply with all relevant professional and accounting standards.
* Maintain clear and precise communications with other personnel of the firm.
* Foster good working relationships with external institutions and organisations.
* Anticipate problems and take suitable actions.
* Attend departmental meetings as required.
* Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and clients are kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
* Deliver up‑to‑date legal advice to clients.
* Provide “value for money” and participate in ensuring profitability.
* Achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording.
* Answer telephone calls and deal with messages.
* Set up and maintain an efficient diary system.
* Manage correspondence and maintain regular contact with clients on current cases; operate a workflow package.
* Provide a quality responsive Conveyancing service.
Personal Responsibilities
* Comply with relevant training requirements of the Law Society and assist with in‑house training as required.
* Contribute to the flow of information within the firm.
