Job Title: Yard Operative

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Job Type: Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a busy and growing team based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, permanent work with training and progression opportunities.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (when required)
Duties Will Include:
* Assisting customers buying and selling metal
* Sorting cables and various metal materials in the yard
* Working outdoors in all weather conditions
* General yard duties and housekeeping
* Operating machinery (full training provided)
* Training available on forklift trucks and cranes - internal training during the assignement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
* Good customer service skills
* Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
* Ability to work outdoors and carry out physical work
* A driving licence is preferred
