HR Coordinator - Learning & Development Focus
Location: St Ives
Salary: £32,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Hybrid (1 day per week from home)
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HR Coordinator with a strong focus on Learning & Development to join a collaborative and forward-thinking HR team based in St Ives.
About the Role
This role serves as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and is responsible for coordinating day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. You'll manage onboarding, induction, performance appraisals, benefit administration, and offboarding, while also supporting the planning and delivery of training and development initiatives.
You'll work closely with line managers, finance, payroll, and marketing, and report directly to the Head of HR for L&D activities.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
Maintain accurate personnel records and HR systems
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
Issue contracts and verify eligibility to work
Liaise with marketing for internal announcements
Administer employee benefits and liaise with external providersLearning & Development
Support the Head of HR with L&D initiatives and projects
Organise and schedule training plans and events
Prepare training materials and gather feedback
Produce monthly L&D reportsHR Delivery
Provide first-line support for HR queries and systems
Assist with disciplinary and grievance matters
Coordinate employee welfare and engagement activities
Analyse exit interview data and identify trends
What We're Looking For
1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced HR environment
CIPD Level 3 or above
Strong IT skills (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with HRIS (Dayforce is a plus)
Knowledge of UK visa/immigration processes (Level 1 user)
Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
Willingness to travel across UK sites (Wimbledon, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire) and occasionally Europe
Requirements
Full, clean UK driving licence
