Job Description
Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts Ltd is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions: Construction, Fit Out, Small Works, Retail, Housing, Maintenance, and Manufactured Joinery. We employ over 250 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.
We now have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Manager to join the business.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside Project Teams to effectively manage M&E service packages.
* Monitor the progress of Sub-contractors and encourage a close working relationship.
* Provide programme and specialist information during the tender period.
* Ensure M&E services are installed correctly and to the correct specification.
* Manage the test & commissioning stage to achieve a clean handover.
* Ensure that O&M manuals are handed over at completion to an acceptable standard.
* Manage the M&E contractor design portions with the supply chain.
* Be involved in the M&E Design & Build process.
The Candidate
* Have Mechanical/Electrical construction industry experience at a supervisory/managerial level.
* Hold a recognised mechanical and electrical qualification.
* Have strong IT Skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Project.
* Have excellent communication skills.
* Be adaptable to change within a fast-paced environment.
* Have the ability to work both as part of a team and using their own initiative.
* Experience of BREEAM and/or Design and Build would be advantageous.

This is a full-time, permanent position based either at our Paisley head office or our Edinburgh Office in Newbridge. Travel to sites and client meetings will be required.
