An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Community Support Worker within our Older Adult Community Mental Health Team working across the Fylde coast.
Fylde Coast CMHT is an Older Adults Community Mental Health service based at Shorelands in Blackpool.
We are a 5 day a week service with operating hours from 9am to 5pm.
We are a multi- disciplinary team with close working links with other health departments, social services and voluntary agencies.
Our service users can present with both functional and organic mental health difficulties which are often combined with complex social care and physical health needs.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Band 3 Community Support Worker with an enthusiasm for and passion to work within older adults mental health services.
It is expected that the successful candidate will have some knowledge of organic/functional mental health illnesses and the impact these have on our older adult community.
We are looking to recruit a motivated and dynamic Band 3 Community Support Worker to work alongside qualified members of the team to provide a holistic and recovery focussed treatment plan for our service users and their families.
Need to be flexible and work well within a team with good communication skills and a good knowledge of our client group.

To assist in the provision of a comprehensive community mental health service to people with secondary care mental health needs, who are referred to and accepted by the Community Mental Health Team.
The job holder is also expected to contribute to and to support the day to day operational functioning of CMHT.
The post holder will work without direct supervision whilst on community visits.
Support will be available from qualified staff at all times via telephone and on-call systems.
