Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to a gentleman both in his own home and within the local community.
Responsibilities
* Act as social support for this gentleman by attending appointments and helping him develop confidence in social situations.
* Assist him in learning to cook, budget and develop life skills.
* Perform light domestic duties including meal preparation and prompting engagement in everyday life.
Qualifications
* Preferred but not essential experience or knowledge of working with someone with Autism.
* A driver with a clean license eligible to drive a mobility car for business purposes to take client to appointments.
Availability
Hours can be worked flexibly by negotiation. Main hours will be worked midweek between 10am or 11am until 4pm or 5pm. Evening and weekend shifts are available. Hours will range between 15-30 hours per week.
