Part Time Accounts Clerk – Sheffield – £13-£15 per hour dependent on experience Ash Consulting are working with a well established local business operating nationally form their office in Sheffield S35 area). They are currently seeking a capable experienced Part Time Accounts Clerk, working at least 5 hours each day Monday to Friday, to join their team. The role will support a small accounts team and report to the Accounts Office Manager. Duties will include: Answering incoming calls and resolving any queries with suppliers Raising, matching, and processing purchase ledger invoices Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any issues accordingly Posting all payments made through the bank Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details Keeping up to date the list of invoices in query Creating sales Invoices Maintaining Customer Files Some credit control as needed Other ad hoc finance & admin tasks as required Preferred Skills: Previous experience in a similar role Previous experience with computerised accounts packages (Ideally Xero/Sage or similar) Good IT skills – Microsoft Excel, Outlook High level of accuracy and attention to detail The ability to prioritise and work well in a fast paced environment To work well within a team Excellent communication skills Company confidentiality to be adhered to at all times How to apply: On offer is a good salary and benefits package with some flexibility around hours to meet individual needs and those of the business If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role, click on "APPLY" today, forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
