Engineer 3-D Modelling Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required - Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, design or mechanical engineering related discipline. - Ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation and external stakeholders. - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. - Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office. - Proficient at 3D modelling (ideally SolidWorks). - Knowledge in Prototyping (sheet metal, 3-D printing, CNC etc). - Passionate in research and development. - Ability to comprehend and assist in the creation of engineering documentations. - Must be able to work unsupervised, be self-sufficient and able to prioritise workload. - Must be able to work alone and part of a team. Advantageous but not essential - Skilled and experienced in manufacturing and machining. - Involved in successful engineering projects (In academic and/or industry environment). - Knowledge in electronics and programming of simple electromechanical products. - Minimum 1-2 years industry experience. - A background in the railway industry.
