The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for an Assembly Technician / Panel Wirer to join our prestigious client, a leader in precision engineering and manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, clean workshop environment with long-term prospects and overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assembling and manufacturing parts and assemblies into complete machines ready for testing
* Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products
* Control panel assembly and wiring
* Wiring and testing of chambers using detailed work instructions
* Self-inspection of completed work to ensure quality standards
* Finishing and packaging of machines ready for dispatch
* Suggesting and implementing improvements to reduce waste and costs
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the work area
* Occasional picking and packing of spares orders
* Assisting in training of other employees when required
