Roadside Rescue Mechanic – South Devon at The AA. Location: South Tawton, England, United Kingdom.
As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen whilst driving, but we are The AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.
Responsibilities
* You’ll be the friendly face of the UK’s largest motoring organisation, ready for anything and able to get drivers moving again, anytime, anywhere and in any weather.
* You will be the master of diagnostics and a clear communicator, sharing knowledge in a way that customers understand and feel confident their needs will be taken care of.
* You will work independently or as part of a team, traveling to different locations in all weathers to assist members at the roadside or recover vehicles to a garage when needed.
What you’ll need
* NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
* Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less
* Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
