- Numerate
- Detail-focused
- Confident in the use of IT
- Able to work on their own, but also able to communicate effectively with their team
- Experienced in catering for large numbers and/or resourcing large quantities
- Knowledgeable in the areas of food & nutrition, including food hygiene and preparation standards, and health & safety

Job Details
To provide daily support to the Health & Wellbeing Teachers in High Schools in delivering Food & Textile Education to school students.
Responsible for collating recipes from the Food & Textile Teachers and calculating food quantities required to fulfil the weekly practical cooking lessons and purchasing ingredients accordingly ensuring allergens, food intolerances, and dietary requirements are also taken into account and appropriate items are also ordered.
Responsible for ensuring ingredients are weighed, prepped, portioned and trollies ready for each practical cooking lesson as per the weekly timetable thus ensuring lessons can start and finish on time.
Responsible for sourcing, ordering and cutting fabric to fulfil sewing practical lessons.
