We’re supporting a well-established organisation with a strong market presence and ongoing growth. This is a key role within the central finance function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to make a tangible impact.
The role
This is a high-impact role where you will lead financial reporting, technical accounting and governance across a complex group structure. You will act as the go-to person for reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance and best practice, while also driving improvements across the wider finance function.
Key responsibilities
* Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including group consolidation
* Own statutory accounts preparation and external reporting requirements
* Act as the technical accounting lead across IFRS and UK GAAP
* Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, Corporation Tax and other regulatory obligations
* Manage relationships with external auditors and advisors
* Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting processes
* Contribute to acquisitions, finance projects and process improvements
* Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting frameworks
About you
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Strong background in financial reporting and technical accounting
* Experience within a multi-entity or complex environment
* Working knowledge of tax and compliance requirements
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across the business
* Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
