About the Role
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, including brands like Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It operates a national network of TPS Centres with a 1,500-strong workforce, committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that encourages learning and development.
Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, where Centres stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will work with the Sales Manager and team to deliver and achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre. Your responsibilities include:
* Achieving personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers
* Accurately identifying parts to meet customer requirements
* Utilising product promotions effectively to meet targets
* Identifying and leveraging sales opportunities within the customer base
* Maintaining product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity
* Building strong relationships with customers through regular contact
* Providing high-level customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, and offering expert advice
* Communicating about credit status promptly
* Supporting the TPS Centre team to deliver excellent customer service
* Collaborating with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets
* Handling calls and enquiries within KPIs using the approved greeting
* Using systems to search and order parts accurately
* Completing documentation promptly and accurately
* Managing transactions in line with TPS guidelines
What are we looking for?
We seek a self-starter with a proven track record in building relationships and achieving sales in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate is:
* Confident and capable in communication, with experience in fast-paced or telesales environments
* Passionate about providing excellent customer service
* Excellent in verbal and written communication, able to build relationships with stakeholders
* A team player with drive and determination to meet targets
* Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping skills
* IT literate, preferably with MS Excel skills
