Job title: Vehicle Parts Manager

Department: Activate Accident Repair

Reports to: Bodyshop Manager

Hours: 45 hours

Location: AAR Nottingham, Unit C & E, Daniels Way, Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, NG15 7LL

We are looking for a Bodyshop Parts Assistant to join our state-of-the-art Activate Accident Repair Nottingham Bodyshop!

Role overview:

You will be responsible for supporting the effective operation of the parts department. Excellent organisation and communication skills will help you to plan and coordinate vehicle parts to meet requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily parts coordination of both internal and stock deliveries.
* Update parts ordering system.
* Ensure all parts delivered are checked against the parts list for accuracy, correct parts, quantity, and quality.
* Complete and deliver relevant documentation to the appropriate departments on time.
* Perform monthly stock checks, reconciling with usage and invoices.
* Monitor and control resources within the parts department.
* Work within internal procedures to meet targets set by your line manager.
* Communicate potential delays in parts arrivals to the Workshop Controller and reception.
* Input delivery information into the management system and pass paperwork to accounts.

Skills and experience:

* Excellent customer service and communication skills, including via telephone, email, and face-to-face.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing demands, tasks, and processes.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work proactively and manage workload independently.
* Good time management and prioritization skills.
* Full driving license with appropriate classification.
* Experience in vehicle appraisal.
* Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
