Truespeed owns and operates a full-fibre broadband network covering around 110,000 homes, with 28,000 live customer accounts. Our focus is to deliver outstanding customer experience and increase the number of customers who switch to truly better broadband.
Switching broadband isn't top of everyone's to-do list, but in many of the communities we serve, our network is the only full-fibre provider. We're proud of the first-class experience we deliver and our Trustpilot score – making us a natural choice for customers considering a broadband switch.
Acquiring enough new customers whilst hitting our commercial and financial ambitions requires a focused marketing and sales strategy. It is digitally-led, but also makes targeted use of offline sales and marketing channels to maintain brand awareness and reach customer segments who can't be reached or converted through digital alone.
As a marketing team, our challenge is to find the right blend of on- and off-line messages to increase brand consideration, nudge people into market, and deliver the right sequence of marketing messages to drive sales – preferably but not exclusively through the website.
About the role:
We're seeking an ambitious Paid Social Executive to join our growing marketing team. We're hyper-targeted, data- and insight-driven, so you'll need a passion for planning, testing and optimisation. You'll also need to be happy thinking outside the box and trying something new.
You'll own our paid Meta account, running campaigns across our network and exploring new opportunities across additional platforms, always keeping our target demographic and network reach in mind. You'll join a collaborative, curious team of marketers who want to learn and grow together during this exciting time at Truespeed.
Key responsibilities:
Plan, launch and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta
Take ownership of evaluating and expanding our marketing activity into new channels, including TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn
Support a culture of continuous improvement through A/B testing and data-led experimentation (ad formats, copy, media types, audiences, landing pages), developing test-and-learn roadmaps across bidding, targeting and creative
Create digital assets for campaigns using templates, tools or agency support
Analyse campaign data to generate actionable insights and recommendations
Deliver clear, commercially relevant campaign reports to the wider team
Stay up to date with platform developments and industry trends
The ideal candidate will have:
Passion for performance marketing
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical thinking
Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for improving campaign performance
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Enjoys sharing learnings and collaborating with others
Motivated by helping a challenger brand beat national competitors
You'll need:
1–2 years' experience in a paid media role (agency or in-house)
Strong knowledge of Meta Ads Manager
Experience with TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn Ads (bonus)
Performance-oriented with strong commercial awareness
Able to operate independently and take initiative
Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to present insights and learnings to digital and non-digital colleagues, including senior leadership
Desire to learn more about marketing
