Position: Project Administrator Location: Warrenpoint, County Down Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: £26,700 per anum My client is an award-winning, industry-leading facilities management and building services contractor operating across the UK and Ireland. With strong roots in construction, they deliver energy solutions, planned and reactive maintenance services, and large-scale infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, and public sector environments. This is a rewarding and fast-paced opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working within a busy operational environment. The successful candidate will support the scheduling and coordination of works, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure the smooth running of administrative processes across projects and maintenance operations. Applicants with experience within planned maintenance, responsive maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or compliance environments will be highly desirable. Duties will include: Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally Schedule daily works using the company software system Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, and clients Carry out data input, administration, and document processing Support the efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance works Maintain accurate records and uphold GDPR and Data Protection policies Carry out general office and administrative duties Assist management with additional operational tasks as required Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures Report accidents, hazards, or safety concerns appropriately Follow Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work at all times Observe and follow manual handling procedures Essential Criteria: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent) Strong IT skills with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent customer service and communication skills Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workloads effectively Professional approach when dealing with the public, clients, and colleagues Desirable Criteria Administration qualification or minimum 2 years' administration experience Experience within facilities management, maintenance, construction, compliance, or engineering sectors Key Skills & Attributes The successful candidate will: Be able to work independently and use initiative Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and commitment Be capable of following written and verbal instructions Have the ability to adapt and learn new skills Take a positive approach to continuous improvement Be willing to support overtime requirements when necessary Ashton Recruitment is acting as a Recruitment Agency.
