Job Title & Salary
Quality Engineer, Abingdon. £50,000 - £55,000.
Location: OX14, Oxford.
Responsibilities
* Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, Quality Manager, Quality professional or similar.
* Working for a well established medium sized business that manufactures parts for highly regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, Defence).
* You will be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are met within the business and also for customers & suppliers.
* Excellent modern facilities, culture for progression and development – a business that invests in its employees and working environment / technology (Clean, organised and process driven). They like to progress engineers through the business.
* Based within a commutable distance of Abingdon.
Qualifications
* Quality Engineer, Quality Systems Engineer, Quality Coordinator or similar.
* Ideally you will have worked to ISO 9001 accreditation.
* Strong with Quality management systems, quality compliance within an engineering and manufacturing environment.
* This will suit an ‘all-rounder’ – someone with a good engineering background and using quality tools coupled with exposure to quality systems, problem solving and using quality techniques / principles.
* Strong attention to detail / administration skills.
* You will have been involved with conducting audits & the associated documentation.
* Any qualifications or experience within engineering & manufacturing would be beneficial (Apprenticeship, HND, HNC, Degree or something similar).
* Ideally from a machining, manufacturing environment – Knowledge of CMM useful, being able to interpret engineering drawings / GD&T experience.
