Job Description
The key responsibilities:
3. Act as the first point of contact for customer queries via phone and email.
4. Provide timely and professional support to resolve customer issues or escalate where necessary.
5. Take ownership of after-sales care, including contacting customers regarding deliveries and updates.
6. Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining strong relationships and delivery excellent service.
7. Assign incoming leads to the appropriate Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
8. Generate new leads through market research and effective communication.
9. Assist with preparing, issuing and following up on customer quotes and proposals.
10. Track outstanding quotes and proactively follow up with customers to support conversion.
11. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities during customer interactions.
12. Where applicable, take ownership of leads from initial contact through to order completion.
13. Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, ensuring visibility of leads, quotes and customer activity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Telesales & Customer Service professional should have:
14. Proven experience in customer service, sales support or administrative role.
15. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
16. Strong organisational skills and time management skills; with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
17. High attention to detail and accuracy when handling customer information, purchase orders and quotations.
18. Problem-Solving - proactive in identifying issues and finding practical solutions.
19. Experience with CRM software.
20. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments as well as independently.
