What are we looking for in our Demand Planner?
Demand Planner– Hybrid (3 days on-site in London Westworks) – 12 months contract - £255 per day inside IR35 Umbrella
Job Purpose
Coordinate effective demand forecasting and inventory management for the business, ensuring smooth material flow and a high customer service level. To collaborate with other departments and 3PL to achieve goals.
Major Accountabilities
• Developing demand and inventory policy through analysis of all supply chain factors.
• Contribute to the S&OP process to ensure sales forecast and underlying
event/assumptions are transmitted to SAP according to best assumptions.
• Ensuring demand forecasting data is consolidated and one agreed demand number is
produced.
• Managing the demand and inventory management process for materials under
responsibility.
• Maintaining all finished pack products within agreed inventory parameters to ensure
continuity of supply.
• Make Ensure all planning parameters are correctly maintained in the master data.
• Manage the life cycle of the product from launch to pruning phase
• Minimising obsolescence costs by effective inventory management and knowledge of
demand.
• Providing financial and volume projections of inventory to supplement decision-
making.
• Full control of SAP transactions (MM/SD) by ensuring sales and inventory reconciliation
with 3PL.
• Interface monitoring with 3PL – ensuring correct data flow between parties.
• Identify stock outs risks and manage the situation with close collaboration with all
stakeholders within the CPO.
