Grounds Team Member - Billing Aquadrome - Northampton, Northamptonshire

Grounds Team Member - We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundsman to maintain the outdoor areas of our property/facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that lawns, gardens, sports fields, and other outdoor spaces are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Hours – Shift-based, including weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities:
\t
* Mow, trim, and edge lawns, gardens, and sports fields.
\t
* Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery.
\t
* Remove weeds, leaves, litter, and debris from grounds.
\t
* Operate and maintain landscaping and gardening equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
\t
* Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely, following regulations.
\t
* Maintain pathways, fences, and outdoor structures.
\t
* Assist with drainage and irrigation systems.
\t
* Report any damage, hazards, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
\t
* Follow health and safety regulations when working with equipment or chemicals.
Key Skills & Experience:
\t
* Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or gardening preferred.
\t
* Knowledge of plants, lawns, and horticultural practices.
\t
* Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely.
\t
* Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
\t
* Attention to detail and pride in maintaining neat, orderly grounds.
\t
* Teamwork and good communication skills.
Desirable:

* Outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, sports fields, estates, or commercial properties.
\t
* May require weekend or flexible hours depending on the needs of the property.
