This role is a hybrid role with 2 days per week required in the office near Milton Keynes.
You will:
You will provide the Group Financial Controller with vital support to the business with cashflow forecasting; it’s a key role in the team which is responsible for managing operational finance and ensuring compliance. This role will report to the Group Financial Controller and be responsible for financial reporting and forecasting for cash flow.
Including but not limited to:
* Month end cashflow reporting to the parent
* Production of board pack slides for the above for Business Review Meetings and Board Meetings
* Monthly preparation of interest accruals and other journals connected with net det (finance lease interest, effective interest, intercompany interest etc)
* Preparation of daily cashflow models
* Half yearly bank reporting to lenders (actuals versus budget and prior year)
* Reconciliation of cashflow forecasts in parent company forecasting software
* Support to the business with ad hoc transformation projects
* Ownership of external and internal audit requests
* Maintain good working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS
* Preparation of accounting memos for auditors and group finance
* Assist in the production of statutory accounts
You have:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent
* Prior experience within audit, statutory accounting or equivalent technical finance role
* Prior experience in a hands on technical, group or statutory reporting role in industry
* Strong technical finance knowledge
This role is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week required.
