We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
* Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
* Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity
* Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition
* Support clients with light domestic tasks, including meal preparation and light cleaning where appropriate
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
Requirements
* Valid driving licence and ability to drive clients safely to appointments or outings
* Experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
* Good communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively and communicate effectively with clients and team members
* Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
* Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed care plans
* Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism
