Prof. Dr. Annabella Rauscher-Scheibe studied mathematics and physics in Augsburg, Cambridge (UK) and Heidelberg. The subject of her doctorate was theoretical elementary particle physics. After working for several years as a physicist for a major German industrial group, she was appointed Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW Hamburg) in 2008. There, she served as Vice-Dean for Studies and Teaching at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science from 2017 to 2020. Prof. Dr. Rauscher-Scheibe took up her post as president of HTW Berlin in April 2023.
