<div><p><b>Band 6 Senior Physiotherapist – Short Term Care Beds</b></p><p>Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a background in adult rehabilitation? Are you motivated by community-based working and committed to delivering high quality, person centred care? If so, we would welcome your application to join our Therapy Team at Wharfedale Recovery Hub, based in Otley.</p><p>Supporting a Home First approach is central to our service. While many patients are able to return directly home following hospital admission, some require a short term stay in a setting that provides 24 hour rehabilitation. Our Recovery Hubs play a vital role in facilitating early hospital discharge and preventing avoidable admissions.</p><p>At Wharfedale Recovery Hub, we deliver complex rehabilitation while empowering individuals to regain independence and achieve their goals. You will work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, effective and compassionate care. We offer structured training, regular clinical supervision and access to a strong peer support network to support your professional development.</p><p>This role operates on a 7 day shift pattern. On occasion, you may be required to work across our other Recovery Hub sites; therefore, applicants must be able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business use.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Deliver physiotherapy interventions between 08:00 and 18:00, seven days a week, on a rotational basis.</li><li>Assess patients and provide appropriate physiotherapy interventions, advice and guidance to support recovery and maximise independence.</li><li>Collaborate with registered nursing staff, occupational therapists and therapy assistant practitioners to ensure coordinated, holistic care.</li><li>Contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised rehabilitation programmes using evidence based and person centred approaches.</li><li>Support patients to identify, work towards and achieve their own goals, promoting self management and enabling people to live as independently and fulfilling a life as possible.</li><li>Work in partnership with patients and their families or carers, using inclusive and empowering communication to encourage involvement in decision making and care planning.</li><li>Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning and provide education and advice to patients, carers and colleagues as appropriate.</li><li>Support the ongoing development of high quality rehabilitation services within the Recovery Hub.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>Our benefits range from generous annual leave to access to NHS discount sites.
