About the role

In this exciting role, you’ll generate new business across various UK sectors – from public and private to channel markets. You'll connect with key decision-makers, utilize innovative marketing campaigns, and leverage powerful tools to unlock new sales opportunities.

As a JBDE, you’ll gain hands-on experience with both outbound and inbound engagement through our comprehensive 12-month in-house program. Your focus will be on securing high-value appointments that drive long-term growth for both the company and your career. What will you be doing?

* Identify leads, complete initial qualification, and pass them to an Account Manager to advance through the sales cycle.
* Engage with account managers on qualified opportunities and, where applicable, book meetings.
* Utilize multiple outbound channels (telephone, email, LinkedIn) and inbound leads to create opportunities, build relationships, and secure meetings with prospects.
* Leverage Node4’s marketing assets, content, and campaigns to generate qualified leads.
* Build rapport and trust with decision-makers, positioning Node4 as a key technology partner. Tailor your approach to different vertical markets.
* Manage your pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-up on leads and appointments to pursue all sales opportunities.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and maximize business development efforts.
* Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions, opportunities, and sales progress.
* Work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a pipeline without constant supervision.
* Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, adapting messaging to various stakeholders.
* Be driven by targets and results, thriving in a KPI-driven environment.

What will you bring?

* Proven experience in business development or sales, especially in generating appointments and leads within B2B markets. Experience in IT or technology sectors is a plus.
* Strong skills in using communication channels like telephone, email, and LinkedIn to engage prospects.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage a lead pipeline effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different stakeholders.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools, with quick learning ability and organized record-keeping.
* Results-oriented mindset, comfortable in a fast-paced, KPI-focused environment.
* Collaborative attitude to work closely with internal teams supporting sales strategies.
* Strong problem-solving skills and resilience in facing challenges or rejection.
