Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey in a beautiful part of the country? Burton in Lonsdale, North Yorkshire, situated close to the borders with Cumbria and Lancashire, invites you to lead a vibrant community project. Having been successful in raising a Government Grant and Share Funding from the community, we recently purchased The Punch Bowl Inn the last remaining pub in our village and we are now looking to recruit an experienced individual with the passion and flair to bring our vision of a vibrant community inn to life.

The inn will be more than just a place to enjoy a drink it will be a vibrant hub where locals and visitors come together to celebrate, connect, and enjoy the best of village life. We are committed to providing a high-quality, customer experience reflecting the character of our community.
Role: Pub Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of the bar, restaurant area, cafe and letting rooms
* Oversee daily operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control
* Work with the support of the management committee of the Punch Bowl Community Inn
* Create a warm and welcoming environment for locals and visitors alike
* Ensure The Punch Bowl Inn and integrated café thrives as a village hub
Compensation And Benefits
* Salary: C. £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience
* Accommodation included: Two-bedroom refurbished live-in accommodation
* Profit RelatedIncentive scheme
* Couples are welcome to apply, as we will have a number of positions available
Requirements And Qualifications
* Relevant experience in pub/hospitality management
* A professional background demonstrating strong operational skills
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
* Energy and determination to achieve high standards of service
* Community-minded, understanding the need to provide a broad service
* Commitment to re-establishing the inn as a traditional community hub
