You’ll ensure team performance supports the delivery of the departments KPI’s (as agreed with the Head of Provisioning), drive continuous improvement, and act as a key liaison between engineering delivery, provisioning, and wider business functions to enhance customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness. Main Responsibilities: Within the role the Engineering Coordinator Team Leader is responsible for: Providing day to day supervision and instruction to the engineering coordinators, identifying and delivering any training and coaching to fill skills gaps. Ensuring optimisations of resources. Ensuring all departmental KPIs and SLAs relating to customer provisioning activities are met. Supervising the the day-to-day performance and development of the Engineering Coordinator team. Driving daily scheduling and resource management allocation across internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent achievement of KPIs and adherence to SLAs. Driving continuous improvement in scheduling efficiency, communication, and customer experience. Ensuring that all health and safety policies, procedures and activities relevant to the department are fully discharged to the relevant standards. Key Activities: While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include: Scheduling of engineering resource (installation & maintenance truck rolls) Conduct regular 121’s with the Engineering Coordination team Interaction with internal engineers and external contractors Database maintenance and accuracy Maintaining an efficient workforce (scheduling oversight) Accurate record-keeping and detailed updates Regular reports and work-stack analysis for the Provisioning Engineering Manager Overflow support for customer liaison work Collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a right-first-time customer experience Monitor team workload and redistribute tasks to maintain efficiency and service continuity. Act as an escalation point for complex or sensitive scheduling or customer issues. Work collaboratively with engineering, provisioning, and customer operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery. Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a right-first-time customer experience. Ensure accurate data management within Skedulo, Dynamics 365, and related systems. Formalise current processes ensuring that all changes are documented Review and analyse performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to the Provisioning Engineering Manager. Contribute to process and system enhancements that support scaling of the Provisioning function. Essential Person Specification Knowledge: Understanding of engineering resource scheduling systems and provisioning workflows. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Dynamics 365). Skills/Attributes: Leadership, communication, organisation, resilience, analytical reporting, multitasking. Experience: Experience of working to high levels of compliance and attention to detail. Experience of working within a process driven environment Supervisory experience Qualifications: Maths and English qualifications equivalent to a GCSE grade 9 – 4 or Grade C or above Or at least 2 years of relevant/similar workplace experience Circumstances: 9am–5pm, Liskeard office-based with travel to other sites as required; may involve peak-period pressure.
