Senior Bookkeeper
Salary: Up to £35,000 (DOE)

We are delighted to be partnering with our client, a well-established and growing business, to recruit an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their friendly finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual looking to take the next step in their bookkeeping career. Youll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of the accounts function.
Key Responsibilities: Preparing and submitting VAT returns
CIS reconciliation and submissions
Managing purchase and sales ledger with accuracy and control
Completing regular bank reconciliations
Supporting month-end processes and reporting as required
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure compliance and efficiency
Skills & Experience: QuickBooks experience is essential
Experience with VAT and CIS processes is required
Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations, sales, and purchase ledgers
Experience with Xero would be advantageous but not essential
Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work to deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
