Contract: Apprenticeship (18 Months)
Hours: 37 hours per week inclusive of an additional day each week at Sunderland University for the academic elements of the degree apprenticeship.

Together for Children is looking for an Apprentice Personal Advisor to join our Next Steps Team. You don’t need loads of experience – just the motivation to learn, grow, and help care‑experienced young people build independence and confidence as they move into adulthood.
This apprenticeship gives you real training, real responsibility, and real impact. You’ll learn from experienced staff, undertake a Community and Youth Work degree at Sunderland University. BA (Hons) Community and Youth Work (Integrated Degree Apprenticeship) September 2026/27 | The University of Sunderland and open the door to a long‑term career in children’s social care.
What you’ll be doing
* Help young people find education, training, work, or housing
* Support them to build life skills and confidence Be someone they can talk to and trust
* Work with other services to get the best outcomes
* Take part in training and development as part of your apprenticeship
* Bring your own ideas and passion to a team that values your voice
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
