Facilities Manager Secure Environment
Role Summary
Responsible for the safe, compliant, and reliable operation of all facilities and critical building services within a high-security site. Ensures maintenance, statutory compliance, contractor control, and site resilience while working to strict security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily facilities operations, ensuring uptime of M&E, HVAC, power, fire, water, lifts, and building fabric.
2. Deliver PPM and reactive maintenance via CAFM, meeting SLAs and maintaining full asset records.
3. Manage statutory compliance (fire, electrical, water hygiene/Legionella, LOLER/PUWER, asbestos, COSHH).
4. Lead permit-to-work and safe systems (hot works, isolations, confined spaces, working at height).
5. Procure, onboard, and supervise security-cleared contractors; enforce RAMS and secure-zone rules.
6. Support audits/inspections and maintain audit-ready documentation.
7. Manage facilities budgets, lifecycle plans, and continuous improvement/energy efficiency.
