The Warehouse Supervisor will work under the guidance of the Operations Manager. They will direct day to day operations, primarily focused on ensuring we'win theday' in terms of safety, quality, service, cost and engagement. An element of the role will be forward looking, to drive improvements in the area, particularly around Inventory accuracy and establishing standard work for warehouse staff. On a day to day basis they will:
Provide front line leadership and supervision to the warehouse employees within their department
Identify and drive safety improvements, working with crews to raise and close safety actions. Ensure Risk Assessments are relevant and up to date for all processes within the area.
Establish an effective Tier 2 meeting and coach warehouse operators on inventory record accuracy, problem resolution and quality conformance.
Run Tier 2, monitoring production rates, yields, quality, costs and order status
Attend and collate reports/productivity, outputs etc for Tier 3
SAP knowledge preferred or other Warehouse Management Systems, but instruction and support will be given
FLT Licence desirable but not essential.
Supervisory qualifications also not essential eg NEBSMS, would be advantageous
