You would cover any subject across the year groups, with schools often playing to your strengths (e.g., Maths graduate covering mainly Maths lessons). This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or professional considering a career in teaching and wanting classroom experience. You can choose to work in a long-term contract for one school or enjoy the flexibility of working across various secondary schools in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas. What is a Cover Supervisor? ✓ Supervising and managing the behaviour of students during lessons. ✓ Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to maintain continuity in learning. ✓ Providing support to students in their learning activities. ✓ Managing classroom resources and ensuring a safe learning environment. ✓ Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues arising during the day.
