Who we are looking for:
Unistrut is looking for an experienced production welder to support our continued growth.
What you’ll do:
1. Welding our Unistrut range using Mig welders
2. Set up welding and supporting equipment
3. Be able to read D drawings
4. Produce parts at the correct rate and report any issues with achieving that rate
5. Take responsibility for the quality of the parts produced
6. Keep production and quality related records up to date
7. Ensure good levels of S are maintained in the area
8. Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
9. Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
10. Performs Other Duties as Assigned
What you bring:
11. A good knowledge of Production Mig Welding
12. Able to weld various metals including mild steel and pre-galve
13. Able to work as part of a team and as an individual
14. Motivation to beat targets safely and required quality standards
15. Ability to comply with and promote Atkore’s ATIRE and SQDC values

16. S -Zero Harm to yourself or your colleagues
17. Q – Zero defective raw materials accepted into the premises
18. D- All offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner
19. C- Zero downtime for machines allocated to material waiting time
Hours of work:
hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern:
Week : Monday - Thursday am - pm & Friday am - pm
Week : Monday - Thursday pm -pm & Friday pm - pm
Salary:
£ per hour plus % shift allowance for rotating shifts
