Staff for Education are working in partnership with a lovely Primary School in the Newark area and we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated KS1 Teaching Assistant to start in February 2026. This is a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year at least, due to increased needs of the class.
As a Primary KS1 Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
•Supporting the class teacher during lessons
•Working with small groups of pupils or on a 1 to 1 basis
•Running small group exercises
•Ensuring students understand the lessons and work they are completing
To be successful for the role, you will:
•Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification
•Have experience working within a school environment
•Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
