PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Deliver technical and application support services to both customers and operational processes as appropriate.

REPORTING LINE

As part of the support team, you will report to a Support Development Manager

JOB FUNCTION

1. Provide prompt and professional 3rd Level Support to the HSO Customers base according to SLA And Support Contracts
2. Ensure all support calls are effectively managed with minimum disruption to the client
3. Support issues are responded to and resolved to plan and/or within agreed timescales.
4. Provide regular feedback to customers regarding the progress of support call status
5. Work as part of a team
6. Engage in cross team knowledge transfer to ensure best use of staff resources
7. The evaluation and resolution of Dynamics 365 issues of a technical nature at a code level.
8. To work closely with the Support Team resources, other Technical Resources, Application Consultants and Project Managers.
9. To work closely with HSO Dynamics 365 Customers, to build relationships and provide a professional and quality service at all times.
10. To maintain and work within the company standards and process, designed to give traceability, accountability and maintain a high level of quality.
11. To carry out additional duties as may be assigned from time to time as instructed and agreed by the Support Development Manager and that are considered within your skills remit.
12. In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal process and requirements as per the Company Handbook and operate in such a manner as to confirm to the Company’s Quality standards.
13. Represent HSO in a professional and positive manner at all times.
14. Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
15. Ensure that all Microsoft Certifications and Accreditations required to fulfil this Role within HSO are met as determined by you and the Support Development Manager

Requirements

Essential

16. Strong understanding of Azure Integration Services and related technologies.
17. Must have experience in supporting or developing Logic Apps, Consumption/Standard
18. Must have experience in supporting or developing Function Apps (C#)
19. Proficient in the use of Azure Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and APIM
20. Experience in Azure DevOps particular CI/CD pipelines, GIT Repo's
21. Strong problem solving skills, must be able to troubleshoot and debug Azure Integration components
22. Understanding of API's, Rest, oData, SOAP
23. Understand data transformation options (Datamapper, Liquid, Functions)
24. Minimum of two years Functional knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics 365
25. Must have a logical mind set and the ability to trouble shoot complex issues
26. Competence & knowledge of computer languages including Java & C++.
27. Competence & knowledge of ‘OO’ Design & Development techniques.
28. Commercial ERP application and general business process awareness.
29. Good English language skills both written and spoken.

Desirable

30. Working knowledge of Azure Integration service; CDS/Dataverse integration, Integration Catalogue
31. Process customisation; Technical management of ISV solutions, Support update cadence, Power Platform support
32. Exposure to other Microsoft stack technology including .Net, SharePoint & SQL Server.
33. Previous experience working in a Technical Support Role.
34. Exposure to Retail, Manufacturing, Distribution or Service industries
35. Ideally a knowledge of Bicep or Terraform
36. Ideally a knowledge of Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse
37. D365 (either CE or FSCM), DualWrite, Integration Options of both

LOCATION

Our offices are based in Sale (Manchester), Reading or Glasgow.

This role is a Hybrid Working role working mostly remote and meeting once per month in our Manchester office.

HOURS

Normal office hours are 0900 to 1800. (With one hour for lunch)

There may also be occasions when you will be required to work at other times:

You may be asked to assist with covering the Service Desk Standard hours of Monday to Friday 08:00-18:00.
