Job Opening: Maintenance Operative

The Role
The purpose of this role is to complete all repair and improvement work safely, efficiently, and to client satisfaction. You will communicate effectively with internal office staff, colleagues, managers, and customers. You will also be required to perform other duties as appropriate to your job level, including providing support to colleagues as directed by the manager.
The Right Fit
* You will be competent in at least two of the following trades (one of which must be plumbing): Joinery, Plastering, Plumbing, Tiling, Groundworks, Roofing, or Glazing.
* You will possess an NVQ level two qualification in a core trade (or equivalent).
* Prior experience working with a housing association is preferred.
* You will be a confident, capable communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
* You will be able to plan and prioritise workloads, working to deadlines and targets.
* You will have strong customer service skills as you will deal with members of the public regularly.
* You will have a full awareness of relevant H&S requirements.
* You will hold a full UK driving licence.
