Job Description
* Ordering petty cash and reconciling on a weekly basis. Making petty cash payments and managing the distribution and collection of trip and other cash floats, including recording the entries on the accounting system. * Processing non-fee sales ledger transactions and management of the debtor process for them.* Collection of receipts for corporate cards and post journal on a monthly basis.* Process transactions for the School's Caxton cards and foreign currency and recording transactions thereon. * Ensuring that financial planning sheets have been received and reviewed for all upcoming trips and events. * Preparing reconciliation sheets for day trips, events and other recharged items including those that are billed -buses and taxis etc. * Maintain records of the charity fundraising activities for the school and make payments to them. * Assisting with year-end audit. * To be personally committed to the process of continuous improvement at the School taking part in development and training activities. * To be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. * Undertake any other duties reasonably requested to support the finance and accountancy team in their day-to-day activities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Accounts Receivable applicant will have experience in the above and be on short notice
