Our Client is seeking a passionate, experienced Registered Manager to take the reins at our 4-bed Children’s Home in Wolverhampton, rated “Good” by Ofsted.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated Deputy Manager and a strong central team, giving you the autonomy to lead your home while having the resources to succeed.
🔑 Your Role Will Include:
1. Leading the home’s daily operations, staffing, and care delivery.
2. Embedding a therapeutic, child-centred culture that supports recovery, stability, and growth.
3. Managing safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory frameworks to an exceptional standard.
4. Coaching, mentoring, and developing your team to achieve excellence.
5. Working in partnership with local authorities, health services, and external stakeholders.
6. Strategically managing the home's finances and future planning.
👤 You Will Need:
7. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior role within children's residential care.
8. Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
9. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
10. A strong understanding of Children’s Home Regulations, safeguarding, and compliance.
11. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
12. A child-first mindset with a proactive and resilient approach.
13. Full UK driving licence & willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
