Role responsibilities
* Building critical deployable IT Infrastructure within the Defence environment
* Installing and maintaining computer hardware and software systems using Windows, VMWare and Cisco products
* Responding to technical support calls and reacting to ITSM support applications
* Monitoring complex environments proactively to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operations
* Maintaining network connectivity and accurately recording changes
* Managing backups of servers to prevent data loss in case of system failures
Essential Experience
* Strong Experience with administering virtualised environments such as VMWare and VCentre
* Strong Experience with Windows Servers
* Experience working with Veeam backup and managing network infrastructures
* A background in working within complex IT environments to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
* Experience working with different computer hardware and using/administering Microsoft AD, Group Policy and DNS
Essential Qualifications
* ITIL V4 Foundation, Microsoft Certified Server Associate, CCNA or relevant technical experience
