Salary: £45,000 - £52,500 (depending on qualifications) + Van, FC + Overtime (paid at 1.5X) OTE £60,000 + / Starting salaries are as follows - Non-IRTEC qualified - £18 p/h (£44,928 p/a), Upon successful probation completion increased to £18.90 p/h (£47,174.40 p/a). IRTEC qualified - £18.90 p/h (£47,174.40 p/a), Upon successful probation completion increased to £21 p/h (£52,416 p/a).

Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional mobile HGV technician to the team. As a mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter you will be based from home covering Coventry and the surrounding area. Industry leading training is offered from day 1 to include 2 weeks in an office environment and 1 week shadowing with an existing mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter.

Duties of the Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
* Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of commercial vehicles in and around Coventry
* Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
* Carry out technical inspections or use technical manuals and diagnostic techniques to find and repair inoperable or defective machine parts, components or systems using a small variety of test equipment.
* Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
* In this mobile HGV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter role you will be working on customer sites with or without workshop facilities being available for use
* On call circa 1 in 6/7 weeks
Experience/skills required for the Mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
* Qualifications in heavies (City & Guilds, NVQ and / or IRTEC)
* Previous experience working on a range of heavy goods vehicles
* Any previous mobile HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter experience would be beneficial
* Any experience gained working on GSE would be an advantage
* Full UK valid driving licence as the role is mobile and paid door to door
* Be based in Coventry
