From messy play to outdoor adventures, you'll help create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, confident, and celebrated.Your new rolePlan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive developmentSupervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periodsEnsure the safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children at all timesMaintain accurate records of children's progress, observations, and daily routinesBuild strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesOrganise and manage daily room operations, including resources and activity planningLead by example in following nursery policies, procedures, and best practiceSupport and mentor junior team members to help them grow professionallyContribute to an inclusive environment that respects diversity and individual needsWhat you'll need to succeedProven experience working with children in a nursery or early years settingStrong understanding of child development and EYFS principlesConfident communication skills, both written and verbalExperience supervising or leading staff is desirableNVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) is essentialThis role is ideal for someone who is caring, proactive, and committed to making a meaningful difference in children's early experiences.What you'll get in returnYou'll be part of a supportive, experienced team led by a Principal with over 25 years in early years education.
