The Role The successful candidate will manage their own portfolio of clients, supporting them with a wide range of accounting and tax services. This is a varied and rewarding position offering real scope for progression, including opportunities to contribute to business development and strategic advisory work. Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of clients, including preparation of accounts and corporation tax returns Overseeing self-assessment and partnership tax returns Providing commercial business support and advisory services Handling company secretarial matters (e.g., confirmation statements) Supervising and reviewing work of junior staff Advising on tax-advantaged share schemes (e.g., EMI) and venture capital reliefs (EIS/SEIS) Preparing R&D and creative industry tax relief claims Participating in business development and client engagement initiatives About You: ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 2 years' post-qualification experience Strong background in practice, with solid technical knowledge across accounting and tax Excellent client-facing and communication skills Confident managing a varied portfolio and mentoring junior team members Commercially aware, proactive, and detail-oriented Strong IT proficiency and comfortable using cloud-based systems Benefits Include: Competitive salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience) Flexible working arrangements (part-time considered) Continuous training and development programme Wellbeing support and regular social events Supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking team environment If you’re looking for a progressive role in a respected firm where your contribution makes a real impact, we’d love to hear from you
