A Local Council EHC Team are looking for a LAC Home Tutor who can teach Maths & English to students based in residenital homes or foster care placements who are unable to attend education. As part of the role, the desired LAC Home Tutor will:
* Work 1:1 with students to re-engage them with education,
* Plan and delivering engaging lessons in core subejcts (Maths & English),
* Support students during the transition to new school placements,
* Liaise with schools, social workers and other professionals to provide regular updates on student progress

£30 per hour (salary is dependent on experience and/or qualifications)

The LAC Home Tutor role is based in the Stockport area and is long term to provide consistency for students. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.
Requirements
The desired LAC Home Tutor will have:
* A teaching qualification
* Experience of working with students with EHCPs
* An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
* A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people
