As an Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, working closely with the Manager to ensure smooth service, happy customers, and a motivated team. This is a hands‑on role that combines team management, food service oversight, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer care.
Responsibilities
* Support the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with company standards.
* Lead, motivate, and supervise the team to deliver excellent service.
* Oversee food preparation and bar service, maintaining quality and consistency.
* Uphold high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
* Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism.
* Assist with staff training and onboarding.
* Monitor stock levels and help manage ordering.

What we’re looking for
* Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality (restaurant, bar, or similar) preferred.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Good knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
* Bartending experience is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
* Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
* Driving licence (preferred).

* Health & Safety Level 2
* Necessary training is available for the right candidate.
