Facilities Assistant?? Location: Wymbush, Milton Keynes?? £13.70 per hour?? 05/05/26 – 04/07/26?? 07:30 – 17:00?? Monday to Saturday(Some Saturdays may finish early or not be required toward the end of the contract)Pertemps are pleased to be recruiting for a Facilities Assistant to support AQA’s site during their peak exam-season operations. This is an excellent role for someone with facilities or handyman experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on position and interacting with staff on-site. ? About the RoleAs a Facilities Assistant, you will support the smooth running of the site by assisting with general facilities tasks, maintaining a safe and organised environment, and providing a visible presence in the car park area.A key part of this role includes car park management, ensuring vehicles are parked correctly and speaking confidently with staff or visitors when cars need to be moved. You’ll be approachable, professional, and comfortable dealing with people in a polite but firm manner.This role is ideal for someone practical, proactive, and reliable. ?? Key Responsibilities
o Support general facilities and handyman tasks around the site
o Monitor and manage the car park throughout the day
o Politely request vehicle movement when required
o Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organised site environment
o Assist with minor practical tasks as directed
o Provide a helpful and professional on-site presence
o Work closely with the Facilities team to support daily operations
?? What We’re Looking For
o Previous experience in a facilities or handyman role
o Confident speaking to staff and visitors
o Comfortable directing people and politely asking drivers to move vehicles
o Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
o Proactive, hands-on approach to tasks
o Friendly and polite, with a professional manner
o Able to work independently and follow instructions
o Comfortable working Monday to Saturday
