We are seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher for a part-time (0.6) position at a Primary School in the Wadebridge area. The ideal candidate would be an experienced Teacher looking for a new challenge. You will join a small, friendly team that supports and collaborates with you.
This is a fixed-term contract until August 2025.
Working days: Monday - Wednesday (part-time 0.6)
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver well-structured lessons aligned with the school’s plans, curriculum, and schemes of work.
2. Assess, monitor, record, and report on pupils’ learning needs, progress, and achievements, utilizing assessment effectively.
3. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
4. Set high expectations to motivate and challenge pupils.
5. Promote positive progress and outcomes for pupils.
6. Demonstrate strong subject and curriculum knowledge.
7. Prepare pupils for external assessments.

1. Contribute to the development and evaluation of school policies and practices to support its vision and values.
2. Engage positively in the wider school community and ethos.
3. Collaborate on curriculum and pupil development to achieve coordinated outcomes.
4. Provide cover in unforeseen circumstances when another teacher is unavailable.
